CASA Nebraska State Conference

I was deeply moved this past week to present the Keynote address to a statewide audience of CASA NEBRASKA volunteers.
The title of presentation was: OF ALL THE THINGS YOU CAN MAKE IN LIFE, WHY NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
The audience were CASA volunteers who volunteer to open their hearts, and give of their time
and as a result make a real difference just as surely as societal indifference scars us all.
There are 3,000,000 physically, emotionally, and sexually abused or abandoned children in this country.
These are all our children, and at The Justice Project we know we’re not expected to finish the work
but neither are we excused from it.
Please know I am honored to receive this kind, kind note from Corrie Kietly, the Executive Director.
