Womack works in financial services and small business development. She has indicated that she supports protecting abortion access, stating, “I believe reproductive health decisions belong to individuals, not politicians. I support protecting a woman's right to choose and ensuring access to reproductive health care.” She is endorsed by the Black Political Caucus of Charlotte-Mecklenburg and the Charlotte Muslim Caucus.
